Traveling the world doesn’t mean you have to spend extra money on fees. I have been traveling around the world for years because of school, sports, my job and the military. Now let me tell you about how I stumbled upon an app called World Remit!
It’s 2020 and I am in a new country, but that doesn’t mean all of my bills are. The days of scheduling appointments and driving to your local bank to transfer money are over! International transfers are expensive, time consuming and draining. I was forced to pay the international bank transfer fee regardless of the amount I sent, and keep an eye on the conversion rate. I should also mention that there was a subsidiary bank between the two banks that also took a fee. I had to start adjusting the amount of money I was sending because of all the fees now being taken.
