DIY Coffee Body Scrub
Coffee Body Scrub
This homemade coffee body scrub is an effective way to exfoliate with ingredients you already have in your kitchen which means you will be able to create this for free! Coffee grounds are the perfect size to gently exfoliate the surface of the skin. Caffeine promotes circulation which helps cell regeneration and makes the skin appear firmer. By adding your favorite body oil to the body scrub mixture, you control the texture and now you have the peace of mind knowing all the ingredients meet your allergy needs.
Here is what you will need!
1 Glass jar that seals tightly
1 Cup of Coffee Grounds (regular/no flavor)
1/2 Cup of Sugar (granulated, brown, coconut)
1/3 Cup to 1/2 Cup of Oil (Almond Oil is my preferred option) *I used olive oil the first time I made this at home years ago because I didn’t own coconut or almond oil. However I now prefer almond oil because it is the easiest to rinse off and it absorbs quickly.
Combine all the ingredients in a medium size bowl and then transfer into your jar after you have perfected the texture you desire.
Always label, date and keep out of reach of children and animals.
That’s it!

Finish your washing up with your daily body wash.
Rinse off in cold water to maintain the skins firmness and now you are done!
Store your body scrub in a glass jar that is air tight for later use.
This body scrub will expire within a couple months because the only preservative is the oil.
